Here is his StartLogic hosting review:
I am pleased with Start Logic. When my site was down for 55 minutes one day, I filed a support ticket telling them that to meet their 99.9% uptime guarantee the site can't be down more than 43.2 minutes in a month.
Although the tone of the response seemed slightly angry, I got a month credited to my account. Billing and domain issues are resolved well; however technical issues usually get the "we're working on it" response. Although the support isn't the best around, Start Logic is good for the price.
I have to say up front that I'm on a shared server, a "little" user, one of StartLogic's cheapest plans, (that's my choice). I'm not a web designer, one little website and if Front Page can't do it, I can't either. But, initial setup was VERY easy, fast and painless. Was some problems initially with their servers, (years ago), but that was straightened out VERY well and I've watched StartLogic grow, (as my one little website has), and become even better. In fact, I think that the value and service they provide was the ONLY reason that I've been able to get on, and remain on, the internet.
